Membership terms

Rootstock is made by Nuru Holdings LLC ("we", "us"). These terms cover paying for Rootstock. Our full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply. If anything here conflicts with them, this page controls for your Rootstock payment.

Price and free trial

• New members get a 7-day free trial. One free trial per person.
• You add a card when you start the trial. Nothing is charged during the trial.
• When the trial ends, your card is charged $4.99 (U.S. dollars), and then $4.99 every month on the same date, automatically, until you cancel.
• The price includes any sales tax.
• Returning members who rejoin don't get another trial. They're charged $4.99 when they rejoin and monthly after that.
• If the price ever changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next charge at the new price. You can cancel before then.

How to cancel

• Go to Account → Manage membership and cancel. Or email info@builtbynuru.com from the email on your account and we'll cancel it for you.
• Cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Your access ends when the trial would have ended.
• Cancel after you've been charged and you keep access until the end of the month you already paid for. You won't be charged again.

Refunds

• We don't give refunds for partial months. Cancelling stops future charges.
• If we charged you by mistake, email info@builtbynuru.com and we'll refund the mistaken charge.
• Refunds go back to the card you paid with. Banks usually take 5–10 business days to show them.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Purchases are sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which acts as the seller of record and takes care of sales tax. Your card statement will show LINK.COM* followed by our name, and your receipts come from Link. We never see or store your full card number. Link may also help with payment questions and refund requests. If a payment fails, Stripe will try again over the following days. If it still can't collect, your access ends until you pay.

Your Nuru account and your information

• One Nuru Holdings account works on all our apps. Each app is paid for on its own.
• You log in with your email. Each time, we email you a 6-digit code that works for 10 minutes. Don't share it.
• We store your email, when you joined and last logged in, your login sessions, and which apps you have and their status, plus Stripe's customer number for you. We use your email for login codes and important account messages.
• We don't sell or rent your information.
• You can delete your account anytime: Account → Delete my account, or the delete-account page. It deletes your login, sessions, memberships and purchase records with us on every Nuru app, and cancels a running membership first so you aren't charged again. Stripe and Link keep their own payment records (receipts and tax) as the law requires.
• One account is for one person. Don't share your login.

Changes to Rootstock

We keep improving Rootstock, so features may change. If we ever shut Rootstock down, we'll stop all future charges and refund the unused part of your current month.
